My Rockstar Weekend

FRIDAY October 10th
5:30AM: Sick as a dog, popping Advil Cold & Sinus pills, and driving to work...with little to no sleep
7:30AM: Find out the concert tonight is not at 8pm...it's at 6:30pm
12:00PM: Radio is advertising that the concert starts at 6:00pm...continue to freak out
2:00PM: Get off work, head home to pack & converse with the rest of the group about getting to St. Augustine ASAP
7:15PM: We FINALLY get to the concert, in time to catch some of Papa Roach's set.
7:20PM: Lead Singer, Jacoby Shaddix is singing 5 feet in front of me...amazing!!
7:45PM: Seether puts on an amazing show!!!
9:15PM: Staind comes on stage and totally rocked the house!
10:30PM: We head to the hotel to check in & go partying!
11:00PM: Drinking at Scarlet O'Hara's, the local Irish Pub :)
2:00PM: FINALLY hit the sack after being up for almost 24hours

SATURDAY October 11th
10:00AM: Up and ready for some tailgating in Gainesville! Go Gators!
1:00PM: After getting ready, checking out, grabbing lunch, and hitting up the nearest Publix for supplies, we finally arrive at the tailgate spot in Gainesville! :) Here come the alcoholic beverages, the exciting games of Cornhole, the great friends, and the dancing to Beatles music!
4:00PM: Grand idea to consider buying tickets to the game...
4:30PM: I am on the back of a crotch rocket motorcycle...in a miniskirt...and it was AMAZING!!
6:00PM: M Squared (Michelle, Todd's girlfriend & I) head out towards the stadium in search for 4 tickets...
6:30PM: Run into a group of boys from LSU with 4 TICKETS FOR ONLY $20 EACH!!
8:00PM: GAME TIME! AND I'M IN THE STANDS FREAKING OUT!!!!
12:00PM: Back at the tailgate spot, pumped from Florida's win over LSU (51-21)...LSWho? Now we just have to wait for traffic to die down before we can leave...
1:00PM: Just now leaving...
2:30PM: FINALLY get home & hit the sack...thank goodness for my big comfty bed.


SUNDAY October 12th
10:30AM: Wake up, feeling refreshed & hitting the showers.
11:00AM: Get out of shower, greet Dee, my roomie, and realize that the refrigerator isn't working...
11:30AM: Get on the computer...realize the internet isn't working...Call Comcast...
12:00PM: Get off the phone with Comcast...internet still isn't working...
12:30PM: Call O'Brien & Neuman Inc. to come fix router.
1:00PM: Finally have internet...still no fridge...
2:00PM: Now I have to get ready to work...my Rockstar weekend was full of ups and downs...

I would love to do it all over again...let's just hope my house can manage to stay in one piece while I'm away...

Stressed to the Max, but glad she had a memorable weekend,
